MDC Summer Intensive Rules

Millennium Dance Complex would like to welcome all of our summer intensive dancers aboard.
The following are just a few reminders….

Don’t forget to pack:

1. Bring your own toiletries as well as appropriate bag to store them.
2. Extra towel and blanket
3. Money for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bus fare ($1.75 per trip)
4. It is recommended to bring a cell phone or calling card. There is no phone line nor wireless access to internet
5. Pack accordingly, dance wear and street clothes, bathing suit. (Pool can not be used all time) Your suitcase should fit under the bed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 Due to the fact that the dorms are in a residential area. The following rules apply to the boarders.
Violation of the any rules may result in termination from Millennium dorms w/ no refund!

1. No access to main house due to security and safety reasons.
2. All dancers have a curfew of midnight during the weekdays. (Last class should end 11pm) Any students over the age of 18yrs old will have a curfew of 2am on Fridays-Sundays.
3. No visitors permitted ever!!! No males allowed!!!
4. No alcohol or illegal substance will be tolerated on the premises. If smoking is desired there is a designated area to do so.

 

TRANSPORTATION

Venture and Vineland bus #152 and off at Magnolia. (This bus picks up on average every 15-20 min.

Car pool is also welcomed and available if students bring her car.

Directions for dancers w/ bike or alternate transportations will be available upon arrival.

FOOD

 You will have to provide your own food for your stay. We do have a full kitchen where you can buy groceries. The Resident Advisor will provide more in depth information about food locations.

4. City wok (Chinese)
5. Universal city walk
6. Subway
7. Rite aid

Near the studio

1. Starbucks
2. Dominos pizza
3. Dairy queen
4. Noosh deli
5. Quizno’s deli
6. Big mama’s and papa’s (Italian)
7. Eclectic café

SECURITY

There is 24 hr surveillance and there will be 2 resident advisors available for assistance at any time. No unauthorized admittance into the main house.

LAUNDRY SERVICE

You will be have scheduled trips to the laundromat w/ the R.A

THERE IS A POOL SO BRING YOUR BATHING SUITS AND GET READY TO HAVE FUN!!!!
