<a href="http://millenniumdancecomplex.com/main/wp-content/gallery/celebrities/wayans-brothers-1.jpg" title="The Wayans Bros. is a situation comedy that aired from January 1995 to September 1999 on The WB. The series starred real-life brothers Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans. Both brothers were already well-known from the sketch comedy show In Living Color. The series also starred John Witherspoon and Anna Maria Horsford.

Shawn Mathis Wayans (born January 19, 1971) is an American actor, producer, writer and comedian who starred in In Living Color and The Wayans Bros. He is the brother of Keenen Ivory, Damon, Marlon, Kim and Nadia Wayans.

Wayans made his feature debut in older brother Keenen's I'm Gonna Git You Sucka (1988). On Fox's In Living Color, he began as DJ SW-1 and later became a featured performer, working with brothers Dwayne, Keenen (the show's creator), Damon, Marlon and sister Kim. Along with Marlon, Shawn Wayans created and starred in the sitcom The Wayans Bros. (The WB, 1995-99) and co-wrote, co-executive produced and starred in the feature Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996), in which Keenen also acted. Wayans guest-starred on episodes of MacGyver and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and provided the voice of Toof for the animated children's series Waynehead (based on brother Damon's real-life childhood experiences).
After a supporting stint in the little-seen gang drama New Blood (1999) Wayans' film fortunes increased dramatically when he co-starred with his brother Marlon in a hit film directed by their older brother Keenan: Scary Movie (1999-2000), a comic satire (which he also co-wrote) on the then-recent trend of horror films like Scream. Wayans played the apparently closeted Ray Wilkins, a role he reprised for the similarly popular 2001 sequel Scary Movie 2. He kept the familial team intact when he and Marlon starred in the Keenan-directed comedy White Chicks (2004), playing a pair of FBI agents forced to masquerade as a pair of spoiled white blonde heiresses. Shawn also received a share of story and screenplay credit on the film. Wayans teamed up with Marlon and Keenen once again for the 2006 comedy Little Man. He acted in, co-wrote, and co-produced the film.

Keenen Ivory Wayans (born June 8, 1958) is an American actor, comedian, director and writer known as the host and creator of the FOX sketch comedy series In Living Color. Wayans is the director/creator of Scary Movie, the highest grossing movie ever directed by an African-American. He briefly hosted his own show called The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show.[1

Damon Kyle Wayans ( /ˈdeɪmən ˈweɪ.ənz/;[1] born September 4, 1960) is an American stand-up comedian, writer and actor, one of the Wayans family.
Damon started doing stand-up comedy in 1982. His earliest film appearance was a brief cameo as an effeminate hotel employee in the 1984 Eddie Murphy film Beverly Hills Cop. He was briefly on Saturday Night Live as a featured performer, before getting fired for playing his character as a flamboyant gay cop instead of a straight cop. He went against the script during the live performance. In the SNL book Live From New York, it was stated that Wayans did this largely due to growing frustrations that his sketches were not being considered for the show and increasing stress. He also appeared in the syndicated TV series Solid Gold during the 1980s as a stand-up comedian. After that, he went on to co-create and appear in the TV-show In Living Color from 1990 to 1992, part of a team that was nominated for Emmy Awards all three years.
After In Living Color, he starred in films such as The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and The Great White Hype and wrote and starred in the film Blankman. He also appeared in Janet Jackson's video "The Best Things in Life Are Free" and was considered for the role of The Riddler in Batman Forever (the role went to Jim Carrey, his co-star from In Living Color and Earth Girls Are Easy).
In 1996, he produced Waynehead, a cartoon for the WB, loosely based on his own childhood growing up in a large family, starring a poor boy with a club foot. The show only lasted a season due to poor ratings. From 1997 to 1998, he was the executive producer of 413 Hope St., a short-lived drama on the FOX network starring Richard Roundtree and Jesse L. Martin.
In 1998, he starred in a short-lived comedy titled Damon, in which he played a Chicago detective. It aired on FOX. In 1999, his New York Times bestselling book Bootleg with co-author David Asbery was published; it is a humorous compilation of his observations about family.[6]
In 2006, he began starring in The Underground, a sketch comedy series on Showtime. His son, Damon, Jr. also stars on the show. He hosted the 2006 BET Awards which was held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on June 27, 2006.
For his outstanding role in the ABC comedy series My Wife and Kids, Wayans earned four International Press Academy "Golden Satellite Award" nominations and four Emmy awards nominations for his acting and directing in the 1990s' series In Living Color. He also added author of a serious fictional novel to his credits this past year with "Red Hats" which is the story of a suicidal 65-year-old woman who finds friendship and happiness when she joins The Red Hat Society.

Marlon L. Wayans (born July 23, 1972) is an American actor, model producer, comedian, writer, and director of movies, beginning with his role as a pedestrian in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka in 1988. He frequently collaborates with his brother Shawn Wayans, as he has on the WB sitcom The Wayans Bros. and in the comedic films Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, White Chicks, Little Man, and Dance Flick. However, Wayans had a dramatic role in Darren Aronofsky's critically acclaimed Requiem for a Dream, which saw his departure from the usual comedies. He recently appeared in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

<a href="http://millenniumdancecomplex.com/main/wp-content/gallery/celebrities/vanessa-pic.jpg" title="Vanessa Anne Hudgens[2] (born December 14, 1988)[3] is an American actress and singer, who is best known for her portrayal of the character Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series.[4] She also earned critical acclaim for her role in the 2009 film Bandslam.[5]
As an actress, Hudgens has appeared in several television programs including Quintuplets, Still Standing, The Brothers García, Drake & Josh, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She made her screen debut in the 2003 drama Thirteen as Noel. She got her first starring role in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure Thunderbirds as Tintin.
Hudgens' debut album V was released on September 26, 2006. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number twenty four,[6] and was later certified Gold. Hudgens released her second album, Identified, on July 1, 2008 in the U.S.
Hudgens' fame has also been marked by scandal, caused by the release of private, self-taken nude photographs on the Internet, without her permission.
n 2003, Hudgens played a minor role in the independent drama film Thirteen, in which she played Noel, a friend of a lead character Tracy, (played by Evan Rachel Wood). The film was critically successful, receiving generally favorable reviews, and its receipts surpassed its $4 million budget. Hudgens subsequently landed a role in the 2004 science fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds as Tintin. This film was commercially and critically unsuccessful, and received heavy criticism throughout the Internet prior to its release.
In late 2005 Hudgens appeared in television shows such as Quintuplets, Still Standing, The Brothers García, Drake & Josh, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

In late 2005 she landed her breakout role of shy and meek Gabriella Montez in High School Musical, opposite to Zac Efron.[15] Her performance received numerous nominations and awards.[16][17] With the success of the film, the BBC predicted that Hudgens would be a "household name" in the US.[18]
In 2007, Hudgens reprised her role as Gabriella Montez in the sequel of High School Musical, High School Musical 2.[19] Virginia Heffernan of TV Review described Hudgens performance as "matte," as she "glows like a proper ingénue".[20]
Hudgens reprised her role as Gabriella Montez in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.[21] Her performance in the film prompted her win for "Favorite Movie Actress" in the 2009 Kids Choice Awards.[22]

Hudgens at the premiere of Bandslam, August 6, 2009. Her portrayal of Sa5m garnered her critical acclaim.
After High School Musical, Hudgens remarked that she will focus on acting and films while "taking a break" from her music career as a solo artist.[23] She played a supporting role in a musical comedy Bandslam, which was released theatrically on August 14, 2009.[24][25] Hudgens plays "Sa5m", a 15-year-old awkward freshman with untapped talents.[26] Although Bandslam was commercially unsuccessful, Hudgens's performance received praise from critics.[27] David Waddington of the North Wales Pioneer noted that Hudgens "outshines the rest of the cast, failing to fit in with the outcast narrative and making the inevitable climactic ending all the more expected,"[28] and Philip French of The Guardian compared her acting to Thandie Newton and Dorothy Parker.[29]
Hudgens performed a musical number with other artists during the 81st Academy Awards.[30] Hudgens later provided voice roles in an episode of Robot Chicken. Hudgens' involvement in Beastly, a film based on Alex Flinn's novel of the same name, was announced in early 2009.[31] She played one of the main characters in the film, Linda Taylor. Hudgens described her as, "...the "beauty" of the story but not the stereotypical beauty everyone thinks of."[32] Along with Beastly co-star, Alex Pettyfer, Hudgens was recognized as ShoWest stars of Tomorrow.[33] Hudgens was later cast in an action film, Sucker Punch, directed by Zack Snyder. She played Blondie, an institutionalized girl in an asylum. The film was released in March 2011.[34]
After so many years, Hudgens returned to theater productions and starred in the musical Rent as Mimi. The stage production ran from August 6–8, 2010 at the Hollywood Bowl.[35] Her involvement in the production drew negative comments, but director Neil Patrick Harris defended his decision with casting Hudgens by saying, "Vanessa [Hudgens] is awesome. She's a friend. I asked her to come in and sing to make sure she had the chops for it. And she was very committed and seemed great."[36]
In October 2010, it was announced that Hudgens would be joining Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, the sequel to the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Josh Hutcherson, playing Hutcherson's love interest.[37] The film was released in February 2012. In April 2011, it was reported that she would star in an indie film, Gimme Shelter with Brendan Fraser, written and directed by Ron Krauss.[38] Hudgens will also play Cindy Paulson in The Frozen Ground, a film based on the Robert Hansen case wherein she plays as his only victim who escaped. She co-stars with John Cusack and Nicolas Cage.[39] In November 2011, Hudgens announced on her official website that she will be starring with Selena Gomez, James Franco and Emma Roberts in Spring Breakers.[40]

<a href="http://millenniumdancecomplex.com/main/wp-content/gallery/celebrities/ashley-pic-1.jpg" title="Ashley Michelle Tisdale (born July 2, 1985) is an American actress and singer who rose to prominence portraying the candy-counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick in Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and the female antagonist Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical film series. The High School Musical series became a successful franchise which included two television films, a feature movie, a spin-off and numerous soundtrack albums. The popularity earned by Tisdale in High School Musical led her to sign a solo record deal with Warner Bros. Records in 2006. Her debut album Headstrong, was released in February 2007, and debuted at number five in the U.S. chart and sold 64,000 copies in the first week. It was later certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. A second studio album, Guilty Pleasure, was released in 2009.
Tisdale owns a production company and has worked as an executive producer in movies which included the ABC Family television film Picture This. Tisdale has a prominent voice role as Candace Flynn in Disney Channel's Phineas & Ferb, a cartoon which became television's most-watched animated series among kids and tweens and had been met with acclaim by critics.[2][3][4] In 2009, she was cast in her first major broadcast role in The CW's television series Hellcats as Savannah Monroe, an intense and very religious cheerleader.

n the late 1990s and early 2000s, Tisdale had minor roles in several television shows such as The Hughleys, Smart Guy, 7th Heaven, Boston Public and Bette and in the feature films A Bug's Life and Donnie Darko.[9] During this time, she simultaneously worked as a Ford Model.[6] For her role in Boston Public, she received a 2000 Young Artist Award nomination for "Best Guest Performance In a TV drama".[13]
In 2004, she was cast as the teenage candy-counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, which premiered in March 2005 and ended in 2008.[6] She later won her first award at the UK Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for "Best TV Actress", due to her performance as Fitzpatrick.[14][6]
Although the producers of the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical did not initially consider her because of her "good-girl image" on The Suite Life, Tisdale was eventually cast as the popular, narcissistic high school student Sharpay Evans in the 2006 film.[8] High School Musical became Disney Channel's most watched movie that year, with 7.7 million viewers in its US premiere broadcast.[15] The soundtrack, in which Tisdale lent her vocals for several songs, became the top-selling album in the United States that year.[16] Tisdale became the first female artist to debut with two songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "What I've Been Looking For" and "Bop to the Top", both tracks from the film's soundtrack.[9] Due to the popularity earned by Tisdale through her performance in High School Musical, Warner Bros. Records signed her for a recording contract in July 2006 and she started working on her debut album.[17]
2007–09

Headstrong is Tisdale's US Gold-certified[18] debut album, released in February 2007 via Warner Bros,[19] which debuted at number five on the Billboard 200, with 64,000 copies sold in that week.[19] "Be Good to Me" was released as the album's first single in the December, 2006 and "He Said She Said" was released as the second, in September, 2007. In 2008, "Not Like That" and "Suddenly" were released as singles in a selective number of countries that did not include North America.[20][21] A music DVD entitled There's Something About Ashley followed the release of her debut album, with a three-song trilogy comprising music videos and a documentary about the creation of Headstrong.[22]

Tisdale performing "Headstrong" during High School Musical: The Concert
The success of the first High School Musical film led Tisdale to reprise the role in the 2007 sequel High School Musical 2. She lent vocals for several tracks in the film's soundtrack[8] and her performance in High School Musical 2 was critically acclaimed by many media outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter.[23][24][25] Even more successful than the first film, High School Musical 2 became the most-watched cable-television movie, receiving 17 million viewers on its premiere night.[26] Also in 2007, Tisdale was given the voice role of Candace Flynn, the series' secondary antagonist, in Phineas and Ferb, which became television's most-watched animated series among kids and tweens[2] and had very positive reviews.[3][4]
As a producer,[27] Tisdale formed her own production company in 2008 and named it Blondie Girl Productions.[28] The 2008 ABC Family Original Movie Picture This marked Tisdale's debut as an executive producer and also in a leading role, in which she played Mandy Gilbert, an unpopular and bullied teenager. [29] The film captured 4.3 million total viewers in its debut night.[30]
Tisdale reprised her role as Sharpay Evans in the 2008 Walt Disney Pictures feature film High School Musical 3: Senior Year.[6] Her performance in the film earned her an MTV Movie Award for "Breakthrough Performance Female" in 2009.[31] and acclaim by critics including Owen Gleiberman of Entertainment Weekly, who labeled her one of film's breakout stars and said her portrayal of Evans makes "narcissism a goofy, bedazzled pleasure",[32] and Mark Kermode, who said Tisdale is 2008's "best supporting actress".[33] High School Musical 3 earned $42 million in its domestic opening weekend, which became the biggest opening for a musical film.[34]
Her second studio album, Guilty Pleasure, was released in 2009.[35] Described by Tisdale as a "rocker and edgier" album,[36] it generated mixed reviews, with a 54% rating on Metacritic,[37] and Billboard claimed the album "doesn't give the singer room to comfortably let loose".[38] Guilty Pleasure debuted at number twelve on the Billboard 200, selling 25,000 copies in its first week, archiving a low commercial performance in comparison with her debut album.[39] The song "It's Alright, It's OK" was released as the album's lead single in April in airplay and digital formats[36] and a second single, "Crank It Up", was later released in October.[40]
Tisdale starred in the 2009 20th Century Fox family feature film Aliens in the Attic as Bethany Pearson,[41] the elder sister of the family and although she is credited as one of the main characters, The New York Times said Tisdale "spends much of the film off screen".[42] The film was a minor success in box office, grossing $60 million worldwide.[43]
