Millennium Dance Complex is happy to offer yoga in the morning! Los Angeles is teaming with the unbridled energy of the Hollywood arts and entertainment world. Its here where we train, connect, strive, create and perform. Yoga class is the place we go to reconnect to our inner selves, to relax, recalibrate, restore and absorb the healing and transformative energies. A wonderful way for students to begin the day by tuning in, centering and preparing your body for a day of dance class or feeling optimal at your job.
The classes are 1 hour and are held in a room slightly warmed with infrared heating panels.

Millenium Yoga Flow
Slightly heated vinyasa flow classes are a full mind and body work- in. Starting with a 3 min led meditation, Millenium Yoga Flow invites creative sequencing with a focus on alignment. All our classes are thoughtfully invented on curated contemporary playlists. Your body will be moving to the rhythm of your breath. Expect to have fun with sun salutations, standing and seated poses, twists, backbends and hip openers as well as arm balances and for the more seasoned practitioners: inversions. You will leave with a toned and stretched body and mind, ready to take on the day.
Millenium Yoga Shape
Slightly heated Millenium Yoga Shape classes are a high intensity body workout based on Millenium Yoga Flow shapes. Sweating to killer beats you will be using small hand weights from 1lbs to 5lbs. This powerful class builds strength, stamina and flexibility with longer holds and repetition. The weights enable extra length and depth in each pose. You will leave noticing a subtle tightening of your arms, core and legs as well as grounded and relaxed.
Yoga for Dancers
Founded by Marja Lankinen, Yoga for Dancers is a class style deliberately built to support dancer health and wellness for longevity and elite performance. Y4D’s movement methodology roots in therapeutics through yoga, and every class targets strength training, flexibility, range of motion, joint integrity, structural awareness, recovery, body awareness, and self care techniques.
