Dana was born in Aurora, Colorado, and studied many forms of dance at Michelle Latimer Dance Academy. She was a past NYCDA Regional Outstanding Dancer, and at age 18 moved to Los Angeles to follow her dream, pursue her career, and continue to train. In little time, Dana found work on contemporary companies, commercials, musical videos, and a world tour with Justin Timberlake. Dana has lit the stage as a performer, become passionate for the behind-the-scenes facets of dance-driven projects as an assistant choreographer, and has fallen in love with teaching and choreographing as well. Above all, she is an admirer of movement and is eager to continue to share her passion for dance. On and off the clock, Dana is a leading voice in her community, as Dancers’ Alliance Board member, SAG/AFTRA Ambassador, and creator of her very own Dance Industry webseries called “More Than Moves TV”. She is an admirer and student of movement with a soft spot for dance history, and a finger on the pulse of the future of the dance industry.
Dana toured with Justin Timberlake on his world tour “FutureSex/Love Show.” She’s also been featured in “Criss Angel Believe,” “Nikelodeon Kids Choice Awards,” “Cirque du Soleil” and an off-Broadway rendition of “The Wiz.” Dana has also worked with recording artists Justin Beiber, Britney Spears, to Earth Wind & Fire, The Backstreet Boys, and Joe Jonas.
Dana has been seen on “Ellen,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Dancing With the Stars”, “America’s Got Talent”, “Jimmy Fallon”, “American Idol” and numerous commercials including Disney, Verizon, Travelzoo, NFL Network, and Reeses Puffs Cereal. She was also featured in the film “Charlie Wilsons War” with Tom Hanks and was a featured dancer for the animation of “Shrek Forever After.”
Most recently, Dana’s choreography has been seen on Season 7 of “So You Think You Can Dance.” She has also assisted Marty Kudelka, Wade Robson, Toni Basil and Andy Blankenbuehler.
Dana is on faculty at MILLENNIUM Dance Complex in L.A. and a featured workshop instructor in Canada, Australia, Europe, Japan, and all over the United States.
