Danny Valle moved to Los Angeles from Northern California three days after graduating high school to make his dreams of a dance career come true and is thrilled to still be going strong. He is currently the co-choreographer on VH1’s hit show Hit the Floor, which premieres its third season in January of 2016. He recently choreographed a string of commercials for Experian and StubHub and assisted choreographed on the upcoming feature film The Jungle Book.
He is known as Michael Rooney’s “right leg” and has assisted Michael on numerous projects including: Super Fun Night Promo, The X Factor UK with Taylor Swift, PDS Tribute to Julie Andrews, So You Think You Can Dance, HitRecord with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and commercials for Chipotle, Kenzo, Samsung, Transunion, Geico, Tropicana, Evian, Old Navy, Bailey’s, Target, Toyota, and Smithfield Ham.
As a dancer Danny has had the opportunity to do a little bit of everything. Some of his credits include: La La Land, The Muppets, Dancing with the Stars, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and the national Broadway tour Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan. He has also had the opportunity to dance in some of the most iconic music videos of the past couple of decades including Bjork’s It’s Oh so Quiet as well as Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get you Out of My Head. Other artists he’s worked with include the Black Eyed Peas, Fiona Apple, All-American Rejects, Greenday, and Tim Armstrong.
He is a former Joe Tremaine scholarship and teaches at Edge Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex. He is excited to pass along everything he’s learned to the next generation of dancers and teachers.
