King Kai

Kai is a working Dancer, Teacher and a Choreographer  from  New York City. He is known as one of the most versatile dancers of this new generation, being one of the few dancers that dance in concert and commercial industries while still battling and entering street dance competitions. He danced at a local studio for 4 years and then attended the prestigious Fiorello H Laguardia high school for the arts , where he has trained in heavily in Ballet  and Modern dance ( Horton and Graham) and at the same time, took class at Broadway Dance Center and connected with his local community , learning two new Street styles of this decade “Flexing” and “Lite Feet”. After graduating he continued his training and went straight into the industry. Odyssey Dance Theater, Commercial with Mens Warehouse , Chris Brown, Prince Royce, Daddy Yankee/Wisin are some of his accomplishments , to name a few. He recently was on DanceOn for a Choreographers Competition directed by Nigel Lythgoe.

He has assisted and choreographed alongside  world renowned choreographer TOKYO ( Hall of fame, TOKYOthecompany, SYTYCD Ukraine ).

Kai continues to train, as well as give back to the community as a teacher and create for multiple industries , both in Concert/theater and Commercial Dance! As a teacher, he teaches Hip-hop ,  Contemporary , and a Improv class. One of Kai’s future goal is to unite the dance cultures together by teaching and sharing all these different styles ,  while traveling the world teaching and choreographing. There so many dances the world doesn’t know about and it’s important to him to spread different cultures as much as possible!
