If you’re thinking about moving to Los Angeles to pursue your career as a professional dancer, or want to be apart of an intensive program, the certificate program is a great avenue. My role as Millennium’s student advisor is to not only inform students about classes and teachers, but give them one on one advice about the dance industry itself. Whether it is how to get an agent, find out about auditions, or simply go to dance events/performances and meet new people. I will be checking in on students to make sure they are getting the full benefits of the program by attending the classes that are best suited for them individually.

The certificate program pushed me to have an organized schedule, it also allowed me to take classes that I thought where “out” of my style, but I ended up loving them and trying out new things! Besides all the amazing people I got to meet and be friends with from all around the world, this was an amazing experience and I would do it again any time if I have the chance!
The Certificate Program was so amazing and challenging for me. Every day you learn something really good with people, the staff that was very nice to me, and also with all the teachers you get to know here. The best part for me is that you can go at any time of the day and feel like you are getting better every hour. It’s really worth it!
I have learned so much since the program, it has helped me realize new dreams I never thought were possible and achieve goals that I had! The friends and relationships with teachers/mentors are something I will appreciate forever!! The atmosphere is so welcoming and they push you to your fullest potential (teachers won’t let you give up).
The mentor classes, being just a small class of students which you already know, were so nice – a good break from those filled classes. Every day was a new goal, a new challenge to complete!
Coming back home and owning a studio, it helps students realize that you can do anything, helps them with their training and it’s great for them to hear the stories of the real world!
I can’t wait to come back!!
For me the best part was the overall atmosphere of the studio. Everything, from how friendly everyone was, to how great all the teachers and classes were, it just felt right. The huge variety of teachers who all teach differently is amazing as well. My ability to pick up choreography improved so much from the program. In the beginning it took me a couple classes to get the choreography and in the end, I was able to get it in one class most of the time. Overall it was one of my best experiences ever and I can’t wait to return.
